While we were staying on the Gold Coast for the Malfunction Surf Festival we were lucky enough to be asked over to South Straddie by Dane Pioli, who was keen to show Jako some QLD barrels and for me to shoot some of the action. Here's 2 pics from the few hours we spent out there.... the 1st of Dane neatly slotted and the 2nd of the Sunshine Coast's Bowie Pollard having a ball standing tall! Definitely keen to get back up there to shoot again real soon!
