H & Larry.....
Hayden from the Central Coast ( Umina ) and Shane from Newcastle ( not The Central Coast as he likes to remind me ) came to stay with Jake and I at the van on the weekend after the Banana Classic at the Farm.
We had a few beers together Saturday night and sampled some small peelers at the Farm early Sunday , before the wind swung south, when H & Larry hit The South end of Werri...
Great weekend and good having the boys down our way...

Killer Jnr....
Young Sam Moore, son of Glen "Killer" Moore, suiting up for the early before his first pointscore with the Laybacks last weekend... ripping Sam, keep it up mate!
Voodoo
Well.... what do I say.... our first trip to Voodoo... to surf , shoot , even look at it.... SICKKKKK!
Jake was psyched to hit it with Cookie on their HP's. We had to listen to some METAL on the way out there to really fire him up! haha
Cookie was carving, Jake was picking most of the ones in between the sets, although he took one bomb, with a face more than twice his height, hit some chop and came a cropper... ouch...
face plant.... good learning curve for him out there. Dad was pretty nervous for his boy!
The guy on the shorty in shot 1 was carve(ing), Matt Whyte , Carve Director was picking off all of the sets... and shot 3, well what can I say, Ox rips wherever he surfs, be it Shoes, Voodoo, The Island... everywhere!
There's some shots of Jako but he wants to pick his one out, and as he worked till 10 last night he didnt get the chance to have a look... I'll post it soon enough!
I'll get a better angle next time I'm there... was time limited so couldn't walk too far...

The 3 Amigos
Spent Saturday morning on the Coal Coast with Clats, Jako & Patchy. We've been working together the last couple of weeks on something special and with not alot of swell about Patchy guided us to a nice little beachie just north of his hometown Thirroul. There were some fun peelers for the boys to glide and slide on. Here's a glimpse of what went down.

CK ( Chris Kelly ) is the man behind the only "rad" surf shop south of Sydney, Finbox.
Chris is a "new" logger and had his Waxa log out early, before sliding into some fun ones on his Mick Mackie shaped hull.

Perini
Hit up the Coal Coast Saturday morning to shoot some loggers with good mate Simon Perini, we shot a few from the land early and then hit the water as the temperature quickly rose.

Toes Over the Nose!
Clats, Patchy & Cookie on the tip way down 7 Mile for the lunch session last Sunday, I think I had just as much fun shooting as the boys did surfing. YEW!

Cookie's off to NZ today....
As Cookie is heading off today to NZ for 5 days to compete in the LQS this coming weekend, Jake & I thought we'd go catch up with him for the early and wish him well. The wind was up a bit from the south but there were still some super fun ones for the boys to sample.
