Down South Over Chrissy....

The family & I hit the road South to our home away from home at Gerroa on Christmas Day and we've been blessed with many waves in the first 3-4 days. With some solid NE Swell courtesy of some TC up north, Jake has been lucky to surf a couple of spots that don't break too often... Kiama Harbour one day & then Bendy Boat Ramp the next... Good mate Clats joined us for the run to Bendy and the boys lucked into some fun logging waves. I snapped a few digi shots of the session, shown below, but I've mostly been shooting film lately, thanks to my Mate DP's influence, and I'm frothing to get back to Sydney to get the shots from Kiama Harbour and Bendy developed... Rad logging days ahead, stay tuned!

As they say in The Hot Generation, we're "jazzed" and finding "new Jolly's" daily! Yew!

Byron Bay

So I'm heading up to Byron Saturday arvo to spend a week with Jai Lee, Josh Constable, Sage Joske, Brett Caller & Jake, just shooting, although I'll try & squeeze a wave in here and there myself. Forecast looks tops so far , so stay tuned for some pics. Tom Woods ( ST Images ) is coming up for a few days to shoot some video also... goona be an epic week away! Frothing!

The Morning After....

..... The Curly Mal Jam Pro...... The Relay For Life...... Thomas and Darling Harbour..... & Yours truly Frothing like a mad man.....

We hit up Cronullafornia to find the Point that is Windy with some fun ones for the boys to participate in a bottom turn bonanza ( yew Clats ). Thomas was Hullin' it with no leggie... he's a crazy man... Clat's was sliding on Jako's fish and Cookie was being Cookie... and there were Kooks snappin boards on the inside ledge... Good Times... YEW!

Big Hours ....

Over the last 6 weeks I've racked up some serious hours shooting, from as far north as Noosa, South Stradbroke Island and the Gold Coast, to the Northern Beaches of NSW & down the South Coast of NSW.

I've been priveliged to have shot some of the best longboard surfers on the planet in some amazing waves, and hopefully some images will be published soon! YEW!

Single Fin Display to Savour.....

I shot the best longboard single fin surfing I have ever seen on Saturday at the Curly Mal Jam Pro. Harrison Roach made his way down from the Sunshine Coast to the big smoke for the event and put on a show! Hopefully the pictures do the talking as I'm no writer and couldn't possibly convey in words just how good he was! Great having you down here mate, hope you enjoyed yourself & come back again soon!

5 Hours

Ph call from down south.... depart Sydney 8.30am , arrive Shallows at 10.00am, Shoot Dane, Cookie, Harley & Kevy shredding till 12.00, back at work in Sydney at 1.30... nobody missed me! yew!

Bit of a squally day at Noosa it was on that Saturday, with the quarter finals of the Noserider taking place on a bank up the beach that kinda resembled a little point break for an hour or so. Near waste deep in water for most of this capturing Harrison Roach ( eventual winner ), Matt Cuddihy ( 2nd place ) and Zye Norris ( semi finalist ) all getting plenty of tip time.... YEW!

Doc at Home.....

After catching up a few times with Critical Slider Doc in Sydney recently it was great to spend some time shooting with him on the points of Noosa. He'd just finished off a few new boards and was ripping on them.... I managed a few waves on one at Tea Tree and they are the business....

Doc is coming to Sydney briefly again at the end of the month where we'll be catching up for sure... Yew!

Jensen & Young

Taylor & Nava are quite the couple, travelling the globe together surfing, currently in Bali.

Taylor below locked in on the tip in the Noserider final and Nava on a magic afternoon at Tea Tree. Looking forward to seeing these guys later in the month in Sydney!
